The Association of Clinical Immunology and Cancer Research (ACICR) is a non‑benefit, international association dedicated to advancing the science and practice of immunology and oncology. From our headquarters in San Diego, we connect clinicians, scientists, and partners worldwide to accelerate discovery and improve patient outcomes.
Our mission
To advance clinical immunology and cancer research by funding high‑impact science, fostering global collaboration, and translating discoveries into better prevention, diagnosis, and treatment for patients around the world.
Our vision
A world in which immune‑based prevention and treatment strategies dramatically reduce the burden of cancer and immune‑mediated diseases, and where every patient has access to the most effective, evidence‑based care.

Leadership & Governance
ACICR is guided by:
- Board of Directors – responsible for strategic direction, financial stewardship, and governance.
- Scientific Advisory Council – internationally recognized leaders in clinical immunology, hematology‑oncology, medical oncology, radiation oncology, tumor immunology, and related disciplines.
- Patient and Caregiver Council – individuals affected by cancer and immune‑related diseases who provide input on patient‑centered priorities, educational needs, and advocacy.
